Nolan Preece describes his practice as chemical painting, drawing from early photographic processes while inventing new methods of image making. Working with resists and photographic chemicals, he creates chemigrams that move between fluidity and form, abstraction and suggestion. A Reno resident for over twenty-five years, his work is held in public collections including the Nevada Museum of Art, the Nevada Arts Council, and the University of Nevada. Learn more here!
